Welcome to the Extension Club grouping which includes all of the great school clubs that help students pursue interests and  learning directly connected to current SCHS courses to where they can further their skills and knowledge in the various subject areas. Chronicles of Yarnia is a club for anyone who knows or wants to learn how to knit or crochet.  No experience is necessary to join and all are welcome!

A club for students interested in theatre. Its aim is to support productions, handle award voting for the spring awards and induction ceremony. The club also organizes the end of year banquet and assist those interested in attending the State Thespian Festival each year. This group folds in with our International Thespian Troupe and officers must be inducted members. Meets after school throughout the year as mandated by the officers and sponsors

Meets weekly to explore German culture through news, food, movies, music and other sources. Club works on ways to share their enthusiasm with our school and community.  German language skills are welcome, but not required.

Glee Club is open for any student to audition. The group focuses on acapella pop music performances. We meet on Wednesday afternoons from 2:30 to 3:30 pm in the choir room of PAC

An after-school group comprised of girls from all of the choir classes. Tryouts for the next school year happen mid-April through May.

Incantando represents Swartz Creek at competitions and recently earned a Superior rating at the district level making it possible for

 them to compete at the State level.

This musical ensemble is simply the Concert Band and Wind Ensemble combined.  At boys and girls varsity basketball games it is made up of volunteers from both groups and additionally plays pep assemblies. Must be enrolled in Concert Band or Wind Ensemble Class. During Home Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball Games

A club for students interested in skiing and snowboarding.  This club includes beginner to advanced skiers/snowboarders. Anyone can join, including family members.

Winter Guard is a student activity that operates under “Club” status. The season runs from October to early April. Tryouts are one week in October. Starting in January, there are competitions. Dues of $250 and purchase of some equipment is required.

MUST BE ENROLLED IN RELATED CLASS - Marching Band and Color Guard are both part of the Concert Band and Wind Ensemble classes. They are not clubs, even though they have some extra-curricular qualities.
